The ACMF team is thrilled to be selected as the Charity Partner for the City of Sydney Christmas festivities!  Music brings so much joy to many and Christmas is the perfect time to gather family and friends to celebrate.

Research has proven that participation in music has a significant impact on a child’s health and development. Music inspires creativity and imagination.

The ACMF uses the power and the magic of music to bring joy and solace to children who have lost hope, are abused, traumatised or are in detention. 
Music can give these children the opportunity to express themselves, develop self-esteem and realise that there is another world out there that they have never experienced. We give them hope.

The Foundation provides free weekly musical tuition and instruments through a variety of programs for disadvantaged schools, juvenile justice centres, indigenous and isolated regions and the youth drug and alcohol court program.

All ACMF programs are long term – we are proud to say that all programs commenced since 2002 still continue today.
