Supporting Christmas in the city

The City supports community organisations celebrating Christmas in the city.

Meals on Wheels  delivered hundreds of hampers, helping bring Christmas cheer to people with a disability, the aged and their carers. You can help too by getting involved or making a donation.

StreetSmart Australia continues its NSW campaign to help Sydney’s homeless. Christmas can be one of the most traumatic times of the year for individuals and families who have no home in which to celebrate and who will not be enjoying the comforts that so many of us take for granted.

The registered charity StreetSmart Australia offers restaurateurs and diners a unique opportunity to support vulnerable and disadvantaged people.  Patrons at participating restaurants are invited to contribute an extra $2 at the end of the meal. Proceeds will help those who need it most at Christmas.
