Welcome to another colourful Sydney Christmas

Welcome to Christmas in Sydney. We have a calendar jam-packed with Christmas events so you can enjoy this special time with your friends and family.

There are so many reasons to visit the city this summer. You’ll see our beautiful city at its prettiest – covered in colourful Christmas decorations and lights.

You’ll find everything on your Christmas list in our unique shops, boutiques, arcades and department stores and we’ll bring extra Christmas cheer when our favourite choirs sing carols every Thursday night.

Thursday 29 November will be a huge night, with two free concerts full of music and entertainment for the whole family at Martin Place and Hyde Park. The spectacular Martin Place Christmas tree, with its thousands of lights, will be lit to mark the beginning of the festive season.

Our village Christmas concerts in Rushcutters Bay, Rosebery, Alexandria and Surry Hills provide a fantastic opportunity for you and your friends and family to enjoy some Christmas magic in your own neighbourhood. This year our popular Surry Hills concert will be held at Ward Park.

We will again partner with the Australian Children’s Music Foundation, which helps to bring joy to disadvantaged children through music.
